A centrifuge is used to separate the components of blood – red blood cells, platelets, and plasma – from each other to support diagnostic blood testing.
All donors who gift a piece of equipment will receive a charitable tax receipt for 100% of the donation total. All veterinary equipment donors will be recognized in the Vince & Bernice Bates Veterinary Care Centre and donors over $5,000 will also be recognized on the main donor wall in the Animal Community Centre.
